FAQs

HOW DO I PUT ON MY NEW FLEISCHLEIBCHEN CORRECTLY?

To avoid any embarassing moments while getting in contact with your new Fleischleibchen, please follow these simple instructions for a maximum textile entertainment:

  1. It all starts at the biggest hole of your Fleischleibchen, which is located at the lower part of the garment. Please dive in head first. Don't be afraid: there shouldn't be any problems, as long as you have chosen the right size according to your body's scale.
  2. It shouldn't take all too long until your head will exit out of your Fleischleibchen at the smallest opening, located at the top of the garment. Don't panic if this might take a little while sometimes - you're absolutely safe inside your Fleischleibchen!
  3. Now your arms should find their way into the sunlight by exiting through the holes mounted on both sides of your Fleischleibchen. If you can see all of your ten fingers, you're out of troubles. Now head-jump into a good day with your new Fleischleibchen!

HOW DO I TAKE CARE OF MY NEW FLEISCHLEIBCHEN?

Even if it hurts: sometimes you have to part from your Fleischleibchen for a short time to put it into the washing machine! Please follow these instructions:

  • At the laundromat, your Fleischleibchen will appreciate low temperatures (30-40 degrees) and low spin speeds. We recommend to wash your Fleischleibchen in company with similar-colour t-shirts only.
Please avoid tumble dryers - your Fleischleibchen loves to hang around with fellow t-shirts for drying!
  • IMPORTANT: Always turn your Fleischleibchen inside out before washing. This helps to take care of both the print and the surface.
  • It's obvious that you will turn even more heads inside an ironed Fleischleibchen! To avoid damage to the valuable print on your t-shirt, always turn your Fleischleibchen inside out before you have it ironed!

WHAT KIND OF PRINTING TECHNOLOGIES ARE USED FOR MY FLEISCHLEIBCHEN?

Flex Print

Flex is a printing technique where the design is cut from a colored foil and then pressed onto the t-shirt under high heat. The printed colors are very vibrant, have a slight shine to them and contrast extremely well with fabric. Tests have shown that the form and color of the flex print barely change after 100 washes. It is made of a flexible and resilient material - even thin lines do not break.

Transfer Print

Similar to the screen print technique, transfer prints are created by using various screens. The difference is that the reversed design is first applied onto a special paper, and is then pressed onto the garment under high heat. This technique creates a very smooth and thin print, featuring vibrant colours and a very detailed look of the design.

Flock Print

Flock is a printing technique where the design is cut from a colored foil and then pressed onto the shirt under high heat. A flock print has a velvety, fuzzy surface. The foil (0.5 mm) is somewhat thicker than flex, which causes the design to appear slightly elevated from the apparel and results in the plush feel. The colors have a soft glow to them. Flock designs retain their vibrant color after many washes.

Screen Print

The classic print technique! The colour is printed directly onto the garment through various screens - one for each colour of the design. Screenprints feature high opacity, perfect grip and high durability. Some screenprints can be washed at high temperatures as well.
